Jung Ontario is home to the Ontario Association of Jungian Analysts and the CG Jung Foundation of Ontario. Two related but separate entities, the Ontario Association of Jungian Analysts trains Jungian Analysts and provides resources for analysts and clients. Whereas, the CG Jung Foundation of Ontario presents educational programming that explores the psychology and philosophy of CG Jung.

Analyst Training Program

The Ontario Association of Jungian Analysts
(OAJA) is the sole Canadian training organization
of Jungian Analysts.

The Analyst Training Program is recognized by the
College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario
and the International Association of Analytical
Psychology – the international accrediting and
regulatory body for all Jungian societies and
groups of analytical psychology practitioners,
trainees, and affiliates.

A comprehensive program designed for working
professionals, the Analyst Training Program
welcomes Canadian and international individuals
called to become Jungian Analysts.

Open to applicants from any professional
background with a master’s degree or equivalent,
the hybrid program takes place primarily in
person over nine long weekends between
September and May with December and January
dates held virtually.

Upon completion, graduates become members of
the International Association for Analytical
Psychology and are invited to become analyst
members of OAJA. Completing our program and
the CRPO registration exam permits analysts to
practice as Registered Psychotherapists in
Ontario.

International students may obtain a student visa
through the Government of Canada from the
Ministry of Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship
Canada.

Jungian analysis

Jungian analysis is a form of depth psychotherapy
based on theories and concepts developed by
Carl Gustav Jung. It explores the unconscious
mind and the integration of various aspects of the
self. Jungian analysis facilitates the ‘individuation’
process – Jung’s word to describe a journey of
self-discovery, self-realization and personal
growth. This involves becoming one’s true and
unique self, realizing one’s potential, and achieving
a state of wholeness and balance in one’s
personality.

Jungian analysis involves a deep exploration of
the individual’s inner world, dreams, and personal
narratives. This work aims to help the client better
understand themselves, their motivations, and
their life’s journey.

Analysis is holistic and integrative. It addresses a
wide range of psychological and spiritual issues.
Individuals interested in self-discovery and
personal growth, and those who wish to
understand the deeper aspects of their psyche
find it invaluable.

Public education exploring the
psychology and philosophy of CG Jung

The Jung Foundation of Ontario is a charitable organization offering public courses, workshops, and seminars that investigate the psychology and philosophy of CG Jung.
These events aim to ground attendees in Jungian philosophy so they may better understand themselves and the world they inhabit. Programming examines such topics as mythology, the interpretation of dreams and fairy tales, typology, somatic work, alchemy, femininity and masculinity, relationships, and the fundamental principles of Jungian psychology.
Originally known as the Analytical Psychology Society of Ontario, the organization was established in 1970 by a group of Ontarians inspired by the work of Jung. Many of whom had met or known him personally. Later, in
consultation with Jung’s heirs, the organization evolved to become the CG Jung Foundation of Ontario.
Today, the Jung Foundation continues its examination of Jungian concepts for the benefit
of future scholars, analysts, and anyone dedicated.
